Delhi

Hey All,

Got in last night, got bumped to Business for the second leg which was nice. After paying the pre-paid taxi ticket from the airport (To avoid touts taking you elsewhere). Some cowboy taxi driver tried to take me to his mates travel agent, even pretending i was was so lucky it was open at 5.30 am. I refused to enter and insisted he took me where i was staying only for him to then stop and start shouting that it was not possible to go there, and that it was full. I gave up and got out and walked the rest of the way. I crashed out for what seemed ages but turned out to be 3 hours. My first attempt at seeing the sights by foot was just a pain in the arse with people constantly tying to talk to me. One chap managed to convince me he was showing me the right way to where i intended to go, but it soon became clear he was trying to take me to some shop. Told him to jog on, as it started to tip it down and i got soaked. I've dried off and am about to attempt to get a train ticket East, i'm thinking Varanasi, but i'll see what's available as there is some disruption at the moment with the trains, due to a crash yesterday. Keep you posted, x

Pakistan Embassy and Last Day

The Pakistan Embassy, have finally decided that I can go into Pakistan; after I secured a letter from a 'reputable' travel agency confirming I was 'booked' on a tour. Thanks to Explore Pakistan. Spent the rest of the day wondering around London with Jen, we went to Maxwells - She ate alot of cheese! Flying tomz for Delhi, very excited!

Pakistani Embassy determined to sabotage my plans

The pakistani embassy is currently trying to insist that I have a pre booked tour of the country to allow me to get a visa. This is seriously expensive, so I won't be doing that...Might have to fly into China earlier than anticipated.
